Niklas Järvstråt is in the process of starting up activities at the Moon-Mine, Storgruvan in Pershyttan, Sweden, with the aim of creating a completely self-sufficient underground moonbase analogue before production start on the moon in 2020, and then to run operations in parallel with the base on the moon, anticipating and solving problems without the dangers of external vacuum and isolations of the moon.
He invited the Romanian Space Agency to contribute with a message to the grand opening of the “Moon Mine” on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. My contribution follows:

At least half a dozen sites now flog lunar property. Legal experts say claims to ownership of land on the moon are ludicrous at best. “People like Dennis Hope have no legitimate basis whatsoever for what they are doing,” Virgiliu Pop, a member of the International Institute of Space Law, has said.”
